About the project

The InterAct project collects experiences from refugee centres in different European countries and creates transfer of these
experiences to regular psychosocial support practice, to education and to research. It promotes interdisciplinary cooperation in
psychosocial interventions.

InterAct is a Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership project carried out by 5 organisations from different European countries and 3 associated partners:

Partnership Meetings

Up to now project partners have met two times in Vic, Catalonia (Dec. 2018) and Berlin, Germany (May 2019). Three more partner meetings are planned until Sept. 2020.

Multiplier Events

In 2020 at five multiplier events in the different partner countries the project results will be presented.


InterAct will develop three main outputs related to teaching, practice and research/policy level. The materials will be published here to support development of interdisciplinary cooperation in psychosocial interventions:

The interdisciplinary teaching module „psychosocial practice“, embedded  in a EPSS system, will contain a flexible curriculum and modular learning and teaching elements that can be used by higher education study courses or interdisciplinary study courses in health-related or social studies, like psychology, social work, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, health care education and pedagogy.

InterAct Course

The practice guidelines are directed towards organisations and single professionals active in psychosocial interventions. The purpose is to describe experiences and to provide structured guidance for organisation and implementation of cooperative interdisciplinary processes in psychosocial work.

The policy recommendations address health care education and delivery care systems policies to identify perspectives of the different target groups, to give recomendations contribute to political development on national and EU level, to raise attention to concrete needs of  minorities, lecturers, practioners and students, and to develop resources for social development.
